Bike buddies - connecting cyclists together to share journeys
Want to find people to cycle with on your way into work or maybe just share your recreational evening or weekend rides?‘Bike Buddies’ can match you up with people of your own ability to share your cycle journeys.
We aim to help cyclists feel a bit safer on cycle paths and roads. It's great confidence booster to find someone to cycle with and cycle buddies are good company. If you are just returning to cycling we can also find someone with more experience to help you get started.
Once on the bike buddy register, we can introduce you to other cyclists travelling in a similar direction, after which you can meet up to discuss where you want to go and plan a route finding the safest, most direct (or indeed the most scenic) direction or just introduce a new cyclist to your own preferred route.
